Toxic Trails Exhibition

This was a Capstone project where we were free to choose what we wanted to create, and I decided to go big by designing an exhibition. The project gave me valuable experience working at a larger scale, especially when it came to spatial design and sizing.

This project is rooted in my personal connection to Latin America. Growing up in a Salvadoran family, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges many countries in the region face today. While there’s a general understanding that developing countries need more support, the realities of those needs—and the actions that can make a difference—aren’t always as visible. I chose to focus this project on Latin American countries to raise awareness around waste production, an increasingly urgent issue driven by population growth and the import of waste from other nations

Toxic Trails Process Book

This process book captures the evolution of the project from start to finish, showcasing research, early concepts, design iterations, and final outcomes. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at how ideas were developed, tested, and brought to life.
